Video walkthrough
Setting up wireless photo delivery
A 9 min 52 sec setup walkthrough from the Got tries channel, from signing in to GN Collage through to camera photos landing in the event gallery. The video is narrated in Thai and has Thai auto-generated captions on YouTube.
- 00:00 — Sign in to GN Collage with the same Google account that will store the files on Google Drive, and grant every permission it asks for.
- 00:40 — Create the event, then create and pick its Google Drive folder — named to match the event so the files stay easy to manage — and save.
- 01:32 — Configure the camera, the phone, and the transfer app so photos travel from the camera into that Google Drive folder wirelessly over mobile data.
- 07:28 — Take real test shots, then watch the photos appear in the event gallery on the web, plus how to save one to the phone.
The video concentrates on section 1 — creating an event and linking Google Drive. Styling the QR Code and adding watermarks are not demonstrated in it; see sections 2 and 3 below.
1.Creating an Event
Everything starts with one event linked to a Google Drive folder. Photos in that folder sync into the system automatically.
- 1
Open Events and add a new one
Go to “Events” in the sidebar and press the add button. The “Add new event” form opens.
- 2
Name the event and describe it
Fill in “Event name” — at least 3 characters, e.g. “Wedding A & B”. Use “Description” for the venue, date/time, or concept.
- 3
Choose the Google Drive photo folder
Press “Choose a photo folder” and pick the folder holding this event's photos. This step is required — the form will not save without it. If you see “Cannot connect to Google Drive”, press “Sign in again” to re-grant Drive access.
- 4
Save and confirm
Press “Save” and confirm. The system starts syncing photos from that folder on its own — no file-by-file upload.
Every photo comes from the linked Google Drive folder. Drop new photos in the folder and they sync in automatically.
2.Creating the QR Code
Each event has its own page, opened through a QR Code or a link. Style the code to match the event, then download it to print or display.
- 1
Open the QR Code panel
On the Events page, open the menu for an event and choose QR Code. The “Manage QR Code” panel opens with a live preview.
- 2
Set colors and margin
Pick a “Code color (Foreground)” and “Background color” that suit the event, then adjust the “Margin” from none to wide.
- 3
Add a center logo
Turn on “Center logo” to upload your own logo — max 5MB — or keep the app's default logo, then tune “Logo size”.
- 4
Save and download
Press “Save” to keep the settings with the event, then “Download PNG” to print signage or put it on screen.
Guests reach the event page only through the QR Code or link you share — there is no public event directory.
3.Adding a Watermark
Burn a text or logo watermark into the originals before clients download them. Configure it once and it applies to every photo in that event.
- 1
Enable the watermark on the event
Open the event's edit form and switch on “Enable watermark”.
- 2
Open the watermark settings
Press “Set watermark” to open the settings window with a live preview.
- 3
Pick Text or Graphic mode
Text mode lets you type the wording and choose font, weight, color, shadow, and stroke. Graphic mode takes a logo file — PNG, WebP, JPG, or SVG.
- 4
Place it and set the intensity
Choose one of 9 “Position” anchors from top-left to bottom-right, then adjust “Size”, “Opacity”, and margin. Preview it across several aspect ratios in the same window before committing.
- 5
Apply and save the event
Press “Apply”, then save the event. Originals your clients download now carry the watermark.
The watermark feature is available on upgraded plans.
