Camera to gallery during the event

Photos that reach the event's Google Drive folder sync to the gallery. Set the camera to send into that folder while shooting, and guests see photos arrive during the event.

  1. 1

Sign in with the Google account that stores the photos

Use the same account as the Google Drive that will receive the photos, and grant every permission when signing in.

  2. 2

Create the event and pick its folder

Create an Event and pick the Google Drive folder named for it. See Creating an Event for details.

  3. 3

Set the camera to send photos to the phone

Use the camera's wireless connection or the manufacturer's app to send photos to the phone while shooting.

  4. 4

Set the phone app to upload into the event folder

Set the transfer app to upload received files into the event's Google Drive folder over mobile data. The video covers this from 01:32.

  5. 5

    Test before the event starts

Take test shots, then open the event gallery and check they all appear.

How fast photos appear depends on the mobile signal and file size. Test at the venue before the event starts.
