How face search works in GN Collage, for the photographer and for guests, and how face scans are handled after a search.
When an event ends, the slowest part of a photographer's job is often not editing. It is delivery: sending photos chat by chat, answering who is in which shot, and sending again to whoever asks later.
A QR code gallery turns this around. Instead of the photographer sending photos to guests, guests open the event gallery themselves from a single QR code.
Test-scan with two or three phones before printing, especially with a light code color or dark background. Low-contrast codes are hard to scan in dim light.
Keep the sign text short and about what guests get, such as "Scan for event photos", rather than an explanation of the system.
If photos are added to the Google Drive folder during the event, they appear in the gallery. Guests who already scanned open the same link and see new photos. To get photos in while the event runs, see Camera to gallery during the event.
Guests need no app or account. The gallery opens in the browser, in grid or list view. They tap a photo to view it large and save it. With large events, guests can use Face Search to see only their own photos.
GN Collage has no public event listing or search. Each gallery opens only for people with its QR code or link. To keep your credit on photos that get shared on, turn on a watermark for the event.
